Apple Pan

Everyone always talks about going to In-N-Out when they come to Los
Angeles but locals know the best burger in town is housed in this tiny
brick-laced building on Pico called Apple Pan. I used to come here often
when I was a kid but haven't been back in some time. Yet as I waited to
do an interview on the Westside today I couldn't think of a better place to
grab lunch than at the 60-year-old restaurant that looks like a typical
home from the era it opened in with white clapboards, plaid wallpaper
and wood paneling.
