I’ve lived near Topanga Canyon most of my life but I’ve never been to the Topanga State Park until today where I went and visited with my friends at VIBE magazine who are doing a spread on my main man Russell Westbrook, who is ready to light the NBA up this season as rookie with the Oklahoma City Thunder (yeah, that’s going to be the team’s name). Despite being a Bruin (it’s OK, he gives me grief for being a Trojan) Russell is one of the most humble, hard working players I’ve ever known and I’m sure we’ll be hearing plenty from him in the upcoming years.
